The series showcases the distinctive art style of illustrator Heath McKenzie (Do Not Open This Book) and in this role you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Heath and lead a talented team of artists to ensure all visual elements are consistent and true to the show’s unique creative vision.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design team across character, prop, and background design to ensure consistency and quality.
• Create and maintain style guides and visual reference materials for the production.
• Review and provide feedback on designs, storyboards, layouts, and animation to ensure alignment with the established vision.

Champion Data is looking for multiple casual Broadcast Graphics Technicians to join the team to ensure the successful delivery of television graphic services. We are looking to bolster the team across the country.
The Graphics Technicians will be responsible for providing technical support for our
live sport productions. This role will primarily operate on site and be responsible for all
graphics hardware on site at venues, including the full setup and pack down of
equipment and software. You will also support the graphics operators and
communicate with clients and partners to deliver a high-quality solution.

About you:

Haven’t You Done Well Productions (HYDW) is on the lookout for a part-time Finance & Admin Officer to join our small but mighty team. We're home to Aunty Donna, Grouse House, and a growing slate of comedy productions, live events, and original content. With 20 staff across projects, we’re scaling up and need someone practical, efficient, and reliable to keep our finances tight and our reporting clear.

This role is hands-on and mid-level: strong bookkeeping + payroll + cost reporting + forecasting. No team management, but lots of ownership.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with Heads of Department, you’ll:
Bookkeeping (Xero): weekly reconciliations and coding; tidy ledgers, clean audit trail.
Payroll: monthly processing for ~20 staff (super, PAYG, STP).
Production accounting & cost reporting: set up job/series trackers (Xero Projects), monitor actuals vs budget, maintain commitments/POs, EFC/ETC, and variance notes; assist with wrap-outs.
Monthly group cost reporting to MD (HYDW-wide):
Consolidate HYDW, Aunty Donna, Grouse House, and Commercial into a single MD pack.
Include: Group P&L vs budget (with by-brand roll-ups), variance commentary, WIP snapshot, 13-week cashflow, AR/AP ageing, GST/PAYG/Super liabilities.
Flag risks/opportunities early with practical mitigations.
Deliver within 7–10 business days post month-end.
AP/AR: contractor onboarding, invoice management, and payment runs.
BAS/IAS: prepare and submit (monthly/quarterly).
Chart of accounts: maintain for clean, comparable reporting across projects.
Funding support: assist with grant acquittals and cost reconciliations.
Compliance: keep records audit-ready; ensure ASIC/ABN/ACNC details and filings are up to date.
Year-end: liaise with external accountants on annual company returns (provide tidy schedules and backups).

What We’re Looking For
Strong Xero proficiency across bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR, BAS/IAS.
Process-driven, organised, and communicative, you keep systems clean and deadlines met.
Experience in small business or production companies (bonus: screen/arts/creative).
Working understanding of payroll, super, PAYG, BAS (not a tax agent role).
Self-starter who enjoys independent work and taking ownership.
Calm, reliable, deadline-driven - you bring order to the creative chaos.
(Nice to have) familiarity with production reporting concepts (EFC/ETC, commitments, variance notes)

The Associate Technical Designer will assist in the development, execution, installation and maintenance of projects across the Mandylights group of companies. It is a hybrid role, working between technical and creative tasks.

Reporting to the Technical Design team, the Associate Technical Designer will work with Mandylights’ technical design team to facilitate and execute technical and pre-production tasks, in addition to providing assistance, where required on-site with the installation and successful operation of project elements as required.

The role will also fulfil a more traditional “associate” role, aiding company technical and creative designers in the mechanics of lighting design, while requiring the employee to learn, adopt and ensure that the designer’s creative vision is always maintained to a world-class standard. As such, the role may be exposed to board operation, including programming consoles and onsite operation for live shows as well as pre-production and pitch tasks such as creating plots, paperwork, renders and pre-visualisation assets.

If you are a specialist in any of the fields listed above we would love to hear from you! We are preferably looking for Melbourne based artists but are also happy to connect with experienced professionals around Australia.

Positions are available for full-time/casual hours Mon-Friday (some weekends/overtime may be required) until 20th of December with the potential to continue into 2025.

Recent student graduates in Costume Design / Live Production & Technical Services Costume or any other relevant studies are also encouraged to apply!

Proficiency in scriptwriting software and production tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Knowledge of sports culture, trends, and current events, with a passion for exploring diverse sports stories and perspectives.
Experience working in a live production environment, including directing talent and managing on-site logistics, is a plus.

The Production Officer (Screen) will provide support to the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music in every aspect of technical and production operations.
Your focus will be on screen-based programs in the Film & Television (FTV) area, working in a collaborative environment with professional, academic, and creative teams.

About the Role

Joining as the Production Officer (Screen) in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, you will play a pivotal role in supporting technical and production operations, focusing on screen-based programs in Film & Television. Operating within a collaborative environment, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality end-to-end production support for assigned projects across the Faculty, working closely with professional, academic, and creative teams. As a crucial member of the Artistic Operations team, you will report directly to the Production Coordinator (Screen) and collaborate extensively with various stakeholders.


Your responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Production Coordinator (Screen), the Production Officer (Screen) is responsible for supporting end-to-end production processes on specifically assigned productions, projects and events.  
Collaborate with the Production Coordinator (Screen) on developing and implementing yearly production schedules and tracking documents across all student projects from early pre production through to post-production and final delivery.
Liaise with Engagement and Partnerships and Front of House staff regarding events, screenings and ticketing matters, as required.  

Who We Are Looking For

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Your initiative will drive your capacity to take on tasks effectively.

You will also have:

Tertiary qualifications (or progress towards) or equivalent with relevant industry experience or equivalent combination.
Relevant experience within the Film & Television Industry enabling the role to be performed effectively, including solid experience in creative processes and concepts.
Strong practical understanding of delivering high quality production services within a Film & TV environment.
Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property in the context of Film & TV production.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
