About the job

Champion Data has an exciting opportunity for an dedicated and creative Broadcast Graphic Designer to join our team!

The Broadcast Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of VizRT content with design and layout supplied. The role will be required to foster strong working partnerships with stakeholders involved in delivering a graphics package.They will be responsible for how graphics look, move and feel on-air.

This role will begin as a contract role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.



Key Responsibilities

Building and maintaining 2D & 3D VizRT graphics including Trio & Arena, adhering to our design principles and client requirements
Creating motion graphics, animations and moving image content for a wide range of multimedia publishing platforms, including event & exhibition displays, digital signage & broadcast production projects
Assist in creative collaborations to storyboard broadcast graphics
Build and maintain GGI layouts & scripts for individual clients
Maintain digital files including VizRT scenes and trio shows to ensure projects are archived and checked in correctly
Ensure that graphic projects are completed on time, within budget and to clients satisfaction
Interface with Broadcast department, TV producers and other clients




About You

Experience using VizRT Artist, Engine & Trio
Knowledge of Transition Logic and Scripting within VizRT
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with TV broadcast equipment and common interface standards
Passion for design and creativity with an eye for detail
Ability to develop striking animations
Understanding of the live broadcast industry
Strong organisational and project management skills
Keen knowledge and awareness of sport
Can work weekends when required and take after hours support calls when needed

About the Role

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Graphic & Digital Designer to join our creative company in Pyrmont, Sydney.

This is an entry-level position supporting the production department in creating digital and print assets, including key artwork, social media & marketing materials, brochures, project decks, graphics, and more.

We’re a small team, giving you the opportunity to make this role your own, showcase your talent, and grow within the company



What We're Looking For

- Accomplished design skills demonstrated through your portfolio or industry experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
- Excellent collaborator with communication skills to work effectively within a diverse team and the confidence to work autonomously
- Superior time management skills and proactive approach to managing multiple projects at once
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm to excel
- Website management - update and maintain Company Group websites



It’s not essential, but we would love if you had:

- Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro & Final Cut Pro highly advantageous
