About the Role
Come and join ABC Product & Content Technology, we are seeking an Archives Researcher to support and undertake research to identify relevant ABC content for Non-theatric and Library Sales.
Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator - Archives, you will:
- Audition and assess material for program, sales and archival purposes; supply material according to client requirements.
- Undertake and arrange timely transfer, packaging and delivery of audio-visual material on broadcast and non-broadcast formats.
- Assess and report on copyright and underlying rights.
- Carry out appropriate administrative and research reporting requirements.
- Ensuring records systems. Research, transfers and despatch carried out as soon as possible.
- Undertake research for other clients and content makers, including identification and negotiation of rights as required.
About You
You will have an interest in archival research, research skills and database searching experience, and a good understanding of copyright and underlying rights in a broadcast environment.
You will also bring:
- Ability to provide research to identify or recommend appropriate material.
- Ability to use electronic databases, digital content systems and manual information systems to a high level.
- Understanding of the management of content in a digital environment; ability to work with various digital media formats.
- Good communication, problem solving and organisational skills; ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
