Presentation Coordinator

Seeking an experienced Presentation Coordinator with relevant technical experience to join our Broadcast Operations team.


Please note: The Presentation Coordinators will be required to work shift work.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Effectively operate all presentation related equipment such as previewing, recording, segmenting etc. 
  • Responsible for the presentation of programs and related material, keeping to station schedules and timings
  • Responsible for making modifications to schedules to manage emergencies or changing transmission needs
  • Maintain the output of the Station’s network channels via the network automation playlists
  • Preview and check pre-transmission preparation of playlists and maintenance of required databases
  • Liaise with the Presentation Coordinator Supervisor and Services Manager to identify and recommend equipment maintenance issues and to improve working practices
  • Identify and recommend better procedures to streamline Presentation resources and processes 
  • Available to work rostered shift across 7 days per week as required.
Role Requirements
To be effective in this role the person will need the following:
  • Proven experience and skills in switching “live” events to air (Studio & OB) and setting up and checking appropriate sources
  • Sound understanding of network schedule splitting, transmission time zone implications, program classification and CAD commercial classification system
  • Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Previous experience working in Media or similar background.
