Part-time Communications & Executive Support Specialist
Our Client has an exciting role for a Communications and Executive Support specialist.
The role is flexible around hours / days (28 hours per week).
We have a great opportunity to kick off the New Year, with an interesting hybrid role suitable for a talented communications specialist. This is not a standard comms role and you’ll need to like a role with variety.
Our client is offering a part-time role with flexibility around hours / days and in return you will write and distribute a range of communications material for online, industry or media, and create and manage the content for their websites and social media platforms. This means you’ll need to be computer literate and confident with technologies and have good writing & proofreading skills. Ideally you’ll also have some established media relationships or already deal with a range of industry stakeholders.
As this is a two-fold role, the other aspect of the role is shared with one other person. Using your excellent administration skills, you will help manage the operational efficiency for the office to support the Executive Director and the CEO. The key responsibilities of the role include:Communications- Write and proof communications for online, industry or media.
- Create and post content for websites and social media platforms.
Administrative
- Provide administrative support to help manage operational efficiencies in the office (Shared).
- Liaise with the screen industry stakeholders, board, member companies, industry associates, media, suppliers and support companies as required.
- Assist with the development and execution of consumer campaigns or educational resources or research for projects and initiatives.
Skills & attributes:- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
- Advanced computer literacy – Experience with MS Office including excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of social media platforms and experience with CMS systems, Mailchimp (or other EDM’s) and Google Analytics.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a range of tasks that meet the needs of the organisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people.
- Exceptional organisational skills to coordinate, balance, track and progress tasks.
- Pragmatic approach with good problem solving skills.
- Motivated to self-manage workload.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently while also being a proactive and constructive team member.
- Tact, discretion and confidentiality.
