Media Services Client and Operations Support

Exciting Opportunity with Technicolor for the role of "Media Services Client and Operations Support".

This role is located in Alexandria, New South Wales.

Position Summary:

The Media Services Client and Operations Support will be more of a Customer Service position. This role will be the interface between internal operations and the customer. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day client support, supervising the processing of orders and order revisions through to delivery and pre-invoicing, client reporting and the primary interface between the client, distributors and operations for work in progress. The role will also provide operational support for managing physical tape media for digitization, library management and general operational support for projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Day-to-day client support.

  • Answering emails and phone calls from client operations teams and distributors in a timely manner with accurate service information.

  • Follow up with clients, distributors and third party facilities for any outstanding materials required for a job and any quality issues encountered by operations on a job.

  • Managing client expectations and communication on delivery times for jobs based on standard and express turnaround times for services.

  • Product development feedback to BD and operations based on client communications.

  • Update due dates in job management system based on materials availability.

  • Order management from receiving the client order to invoicing.

  • Liaising with distributors to gather all input materials required to complete a job order in a timely manner.

  • Close co-ordination with the DMS Operations team on any content queries or rejections.

  • Operational support for managing physical tapes & digital media.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Must be intermediate to advanced at using MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience with service job management systems (e.g. ScheduAll) would be advantageous, i.e. order entry, job tracking.
  • An understanding of business etiquette and focused on achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and good time management.
  • Highly organised and methodical approach, focusing on accurate completion of tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize operational workload, according to client and business objectives.
  • Confident in communications, verbal and via email, with client to discuss day to day operational order requirements.
  • Experience in customer service is essential and understanding of video media would be advantageous.
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills in dealing with clients and with other members of the DMS team.
  • Enthusiastic learner, with the ability to adapt in a rapidly growing environment.
  • A team player.
