Quality Control Operator

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Operator with relevant technical experience to join a team of professionals who are passionate about the film industry and will be supported by the Operations and Client Services teams.

Please note: The QC Operator will be required to work shift work.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • DCP (Digital Cinema Package) QC Screening DCP content in a full theatrical environment, checking and signing off on all localizations.
    • Checking picture quality in 2D and 3D
    • Audio quality and sync across multiple sound formats
    • Subtitle positioning, sync and depth when in 3D
  • Broadcast QC -  Full technical QC of Client Content to exacting specifications of both File and Tape Formats
    • Checking of Video and Audio Quality
    • Checking Title Safe
    • Ensuring compliance against ACMA / Free TV Australia Operational Practice OP- 59
  • Home Entertainment Media QC
    • Screening DVD and Blu-ray content looking for corruptions, sync and digital artifacts in a TV and 5.1 environment
  • Other related technical/ administrative tasks which will include
    • QC Reporting
    • General Content Spot Checks.
