About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investigative Reporter/Producer to lead and drive the delivery of in-depth and investigative content in the TAS newsroom to audiences on all platforms.

Reporting to the News Editor, TAS, you will:
  • Provide editorial leadership in a multi-platform newsroom, oversee and guide in-depth content creation 
  • Originate, commission, report and produce compelling in-depth journalism for all platforms
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of ABC News strategies and change initiatives
  • Develop collaborative content opportunities with other content teams across the ABC and across all platforms
  • Ensure relevant budgets and facilities are used effectively and efficiently.
About You
You have highly advanced knowledge of news production in a multi-platform environment, including reporting/producing and commissioning in-depth and investigative journalism for digital, mobile and broadcast platforms.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven success in leading, inspiring, developing and guiding team members
  • Experience in using audience data for insights and the latest trends in audience behaviour to drive editorial decision-making processes
  • Extensive experience in creating impactful and distinctive in-depth journalism in a digital, mobile and broadcast environment.
