About the role
- $85,326 - $91,023 plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading
- 12-month fixed term contract
- Full-time (35 hours per week).
The Media & Content Coordinator will promote the reputation of UNSW through development of media and content for distribution via external media, publications, digital media and social media.

The Media & Content team is a passionate end-to-end, multi-channel and multi-platform team working across digital, print and broadcast. Members of the team are creative, results driven and focused on creating content that best informs and entertains UNSW’s diverse audiences.
The role of the Media & Content Coordinator reports to the Media & Content Manager. This role has no direct reports.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proven expertise in content production and publication across all digital mediums including web, social and multimedia with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams as well as independently to deliver on UNSW’s communications objectives, while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Highly developed understanding of content marketing techniques.
- A relevant degree and experience of implementing media and broader communications strategies.
