The Creative Partnerships team is a group of engineers, producers, creatives and marketing leads working within Google Marketing. We operate at the intersection of marketing, Google’s products, and our creative and brand partners. Our goal is to shape the ways technology is used by the world’s best known brands and to accelerate change across the industry.

Creative is a strategic priority for Google to ensure our partners are inspired to tell stories using the breadth of the Google creative canvas. In this role, you'll report to the Head of Create with Google.

As Creative Director, you'll represent the brand, its tone of voice and expression across programs, platforms and communications. You'll be responsible for developing content and creative materials for createwithgoogle.com and presentation materials. With a focus on the Asia Pacific region and global reach, you'll work on having adaptive materials which can be translated into multiple languages. Beyond the core brand deliverables lies opportunities to develop creative programs, competitions and activations which engage the industry. You'll work to develop these opportunities and deliver keynote creative presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Be the brand advocate for all Create with Google (CwG) expression, approve brand application, and provide the creative lens to our CwG narratives, tools, and platforms.
  • Develop an ongoing process for sourcing and evaluating CwG inspiration content.
  • Develop copy for site content, inspiration articles, new education, team communication, and narratives.
  • Develop an ongoing CwG/industry YouTube content series in partnership with Marketing.
  • Work with in-market teams and agency partners to script and storyboard CwG case studies. Work with website and video vendors to preserve CwG tone and branding.
Minimum qualifications:
  • 10 years of creative experience in a creative agency environment across multiple media production types.
  • Experience in agency networks and/or advertising markets.
Preferred qualifications:
  • A portfolio demonstrating your creative work.
  • Experience working with design, research, and technical development teams. Expertise in crafting and executing digital marketing campaigns from creative brief to production.
  • Understanding of data-based creative advertising.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the creative advertising process and industry landscape. Understanding of design thinking principles and agile methodologies (product design, user research, and innovation processes).
  • Ability to write short and long copy, prepare scripts and storyboards.
  • Excellent creative network across Asia Pacific and other regions. Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to inspire and excite audiences.
