We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Radio Promotions/Producing professional to join the Hit Network Content team, based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Promotions – Hit Network, the successful applicant will work closely with the Content and Sales teams to design and implement multi-platform marketing campaigns for our shows, brands and valued clients, across the national network. You’ll ensure that campaigns are delivered on brief, on time and on budget. You’ll be executing activity on air, online, on-street and everything in between... No project will be too big, or too strange!
Working closely with some of our national shows, you will play a key role in driving solutions to generate both ratings and revenue; providing a high level support for the business’ integration function. You will take ownership for these shows’ integration touch-points (including show sponsors & tactical partners), events, stunts and prizing, as well as providing first class customer service for competition winners.
You will also be expected to scope and implement special projects, events and initiatives, and to assist the network’s Producing staff where required, to optimise the day to day operations of our radio shows.
As the successful candidate, you should have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Media, specifically Radio Promotions
- Experience in event design and management, project management and promotional marketing, with a focus on flawless implementation
- A strong understanding of consumer and sales promotions and their role in the marketing mix across various media platforms
- A high level of experience working with client briefs; developing campaigns to help brands achieve their marketing objectives
- Experience producing a show; Radio or TV or equivalent content (an advantage)
- The confidence to work autonomously; driving outcomes collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to be creative and adaptable, with excellent problem solving skills
- A demonstrated ability to multitask, work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Great interpersonal skills – you’re a team player who’s able to develop and foster productive working relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to target specific audiences.
