Got a nose for news? A reverence for the royals? A sucker for celebrity? Seven's leading daytime programs, The Morning Show and The Daily Edition, are looking for a Line Producer based at our Sydney Broadcast Centre, Martin Place.
As the Line Producer, you will be primarily responsible for putting The Morning Show and The Daily Edition to air, including managing same-day content, writing of scripts, responding to breaking news, and communicating with hosts, guests and the production team while on air.
To be successful in this position you will possess excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be creative, resourceful, adaptable, passionate, and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to think quickly and excel when working under pressure to tight deadlines.
You will also have the ability to embrace new initiatives and improvements, and contribute ideas, thoughts and information with the team. You will have prior producing experience (in any medium), and a solid understanding of media law and ethics. Experience formulating a rundown and in a control room environment is preferred, but not essential.
