Localisation Service Delivery Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Localisation Service Delivery Manager to join our team and work for a Global leader in the Media & Entertainment industry


Based in our new state-of-the-art facility at Macquarie Park, the Localisation Service Delivery Manager, will be responsible for managing the team which is the client facing hub for all dubbing, subtitling and picture localisation for the Asia and Pacific territory requirements and languages.

Key responsibilities:
  • Team:
    • Ensure your team attain work life balance in a business that never stops
    • Support your team through your ability to remove roadblocks
    • Ensure day to day activities of Localisation is maintained in the absence of other staff members.
  • Project Management:
    • Management of workflows
    • Resource Scheduling
    • Overseeing all client projects within your team
    • Ensuring all projects are executed on time, on budget, to spec and within Service Level Agreements
    • Implementation of a strong and agile project management methodology to enable success in an ever-changing environment.
  • Global Deliverables:
    • Work within a global and matrixed structure to ensure your client deliverables are met
    • Management of Global Rate Cards / marketing materials
    • Assembling and approving quotes and client facing materials.
  • Client Management:
    • Provide thorough, high standard quality and value client service to clients and exceed clients' expectations of service
    • Client Billing
    • Escalation and Issue Management.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Supervising and reviewing schedules
    • Tracking documentation with a view to recognize and minimize possible upcoming impacts on the projects
    • Provide prompt professional written reports as required.
  • Change Management:
    • Implementing systems changes as they are rolled out globally,
    • Identifying improvements from manual work arounds to systems issues, as they arise.
  • People Management:
    • Recruitment
    • Staff engagement
    • Team Building
    • performance management.
  • Revenue forecasting and support to business development

Experience and qualifications required:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Localisation Operations or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Client Management
  • Experience with People and Performance Management
  • Strong client interfacing skills, including the ability to understand and interpret customer specification and incorporate them into a standardised workflow for production
  • Relationship Management – build trust and confidence quickly and over the phone
  • A quick decision maker and have strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekend to meet project deadlines
  • Project and program management
  • Basic understanding of revenue and cost management
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work.
